Divertiland Water Park will host a Spartan Race, a name well known among professional and amateur athletes around the world.

Divertiland Water Park will host a large-scale, high-profile sporting event this autumn. It is a series of Spartan races, a name recognised among athletes around the world, both professional and amateur.

“As a sports enthusiast myself, I am delighted to announce that we have recently signed a collaboration agreement with Spartan to organise a sporting event at Divertiland Water Park on 13 September 2025. The AmCorp team and Venus Capital Investment, the group’s real estate division, are very excited about this collaboration, as it confirms that we share a number of values with the Spartan organisers, including the desire to offer people not only the opportunity to get as much outdoor exercise as possible, but also to push their limits. We recently participated in their race in Miercurea-Ciuc, and what we understood is that even more important than a strong body is an even stronger mind, so that in moments when you think you can’t go on, it is essential to have the ability to regulate your emotions and not let yourself be overwhelmed. As sports enthusiasts already know, Spartan races vary in difficulty, but we believe that almost anyone can find a challenge that suits their abilities.

Part of the Spartan philosophy is the constant attempt to surpass oneself, which can be integrated into anyone’s life – in sports, but not only. The races, organised periodically at an international level, have different degrees of difficulty and are designed to test speed, endurance and the ability to move forward despite various obstacles.

“We wanted to organise an event in the Bucharest area, where we know there are many sports enthusiasts. Finding the right setting for what we had in mind was not easy, but Divertiland Water Park offered us exactly what we were looking for, with an added benefit: the possibility for our future competitors to enjoy access to the multiple pools within the project. We are looking forward to the event in September 2025 – registration is open and we hope to have as many participants as possible.
